At the National Member Convention 2024, held on June 29th, 2024, at the BMICH, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Sri Lanka Jama’athe Islami and the Institute for Democratic Reforms and Electoral Studies (IRES). Vice President Ash Sheikh J.M. Ashraf, Attorney at Law, represented the Jama’ath, while Ms. Colombage Nishari Anuruddhika De Silva, Head of the Media Unit, signed on behalf of IRES.
